Our Big Cheese Membership is a safe space for our dedicated members to learn, implement and thrive in their Photography businesses with guided empathetic support from Gem. Each of our members have a personalised plan and regular progress reviews to keep them on track with their photography goals.

We hold monthly meet ups, can assign you photo buddies in your local area and there are tons of resources, paperwork templates and worksheets for you to take part in. We also hold competitions, group projects and have live demos and edit with me sessions with our tutor. 

You can learn a lot from our courses, but also from the resource pool that you get with this membership.

Monthly Q&A

Our meetings will be held via zoom and will be recorded. I answer some of your questions or frequently asked questions I see in other groups, these recordings will be stored in the Q&A module and you can watch back through them any time.

Co Working Power Hours

Our co working power hours run on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 2-3pm.

They are designed for us to show up, talk about what we're working on, and then dedicate an hour of focus on our individual tasks with a break half way and a catch up at the end. 

These sessions aren't recorded, it's just a nice way to stay connected and have some accountability with our work.

Edit With Me Sessions

Running on the 3rd Monday of the month 2-3pm. You can take part in our edit with me session where Gem edits live on zoom and explains what she's doing and gives you the opportunity to ask questions.

Access to our resource pool (for personal use and to support your business)

Our resource pool has been created with years worth of experience and with many hours of love. You can use it to get tips on all types of photography, from photographing flowers, composition guides, website recommendations infographics and much much more.  

Each resource is nicely designed to look good printed, you're welcome to print any you like for personal use. 

Quizzes

There are some quizzes in the membership at the moment, there will be more produced over time. Quizzes help me better serve you.

Quizzes for camera clubs and just for funsies will be created and available in a printable format, so feel free to use them with your camera club or local groups of photographers.

Paperwork Templates for use in your Business

Our big cheese membership tier has professional paperwork examples that you can amend with your logo and adjust the wording to suit your photography business. Please do be aware that we don't provide legal or financial advice and that any documents that you need to be legally binding should be checked over by an appropriate legal professional There will also be canva marketing templates provided. All in our Resource Pool.

Photography Community Access

As a Big Cheese member you are invited to join our support group. We have our facebook group and our new community feature is ready for all of your posts. It's a simplified version of our facebook community which works best when you use the search bar to look for keywords if you need to find information or posts about particular things. This community is ONLY viewable by big cheese members, unlike our facebook group which is open to everyone.

Photography Competitions

Competitions are held monthly with participants able to submit 1 image per month, it costs £5 for the entry to cover admin fees. The winner will receive a free 1 hour 1-2-1 session and a winners badge that can can be added to their image to show off their award winning shot. 

Group Photography Projects

Each year we hold both 52 week projects and 365 or (366 on a leap year) projects. This is where you take a photo every day or every week and you post it to our facebook group with either #52weekproject or #366project tagged in the post. We have suggested themes to follow each week which are announced at 8:30am on a Monday morning in our facebook group and also now in our 366/52 week project module which, for paid members only, will provide a shooting guide along with the theme.

Joining the group project gives a good feeling of accountability, keeps you practicing with your camera and includes you in our community - it's lovely to work on projects together.

Live Demos

Every so often I will pop a live demo up in the facebook group, talk about something photograph related or host a live editing session. 

Monthly Meet Ups

At the moment we have a free monthly meet up where we find an interesting location nearby and gather to take photos over a couple of hours, these are informal session, some guidance will be available, but it's more to get to know each other a bit better and to get some quirky shots at the same time. 

Our monthly meet ups happen on the first Sunday of the month from 11-1pm at different locations. The event will be hosted on our facebook group and in our events module. Info will be sent via email too.

Courses and Video Lessons

As a member of our big cheese membership courses are included in your membership with no extra fee. New courses and mini courses will be released regularly. On launch of this membership site (in late March 2024) we have one course available to start off with, our 'How to use Lightroom Classic to Import, Edit and Export'

Worksheets 

Worksheets from one to one sessions will be uploaded to your members area to look back through after your session. Live worksheets that you can do in your own time are available in the Resource Pool.

Camera Club Resources

In this module there will be fun quizzes and activity suggestions that camera club organisers etc. can use when holding a photography based session. 

Discounted 1-2-1 Sessions

As a member you get a 10% discount off of 1-2-1 sessions with me. I still need to work out how to add the discount for you guys on the automated system so if you do want a discounted 1-2-1 please email me re your session for now at gem@devonpt.co.uk.

Introductory Video Call and Progress Reviews

This helps me get to know you and your photography goals, you can book this on our online booking page. You get one every 6 months, book your first intro call in within your first month of your membership and we will have a look at your goals and set you a project to work on.
