Terms and Conditions
By using Devon Photography Training's website or purchasing, attending or using my blog, e-mails, videos, social media, workshops, products and/or services, from or related to Gemma Varney and Devon Photography Training, you are agreeing to accept all parts of this Disclaimer. Thus, if you do not agree to the disclaimer below, please stop now, and do not use my website, blog, e-mails, videos, social media, workshops, products or services or anything you have purchased or experienced through me (collectively “Website, Workshops, Products and Services”).
Payment Terms
Your session will not be confirmed until you have signed these terms and conditions and your session fee has been paid. If payment hasn't been received and the terms and conditions aren't signed within 3 days of your session date, I will assume you are not attending and your date will be open to other customers. If payment has been made but the terms and conditions not signed, your partaking in the session implies your agreement to the terms and conditions.
All worksheets, session plans and pre-session preparations are carried out once your session has been confirmed. Your session fee includes a £35 booking fee which is non-refundable if you cancel your session within 3 days of your session date.
Directions to the Studio
The studio is based in Honiton. It is advised that you use Google Maps to plan your journey and to check the studio location. The postcode is EX14 1AG.
You may get lucky with a space on the main road near the studio. If not, you can park in one of the car parks on New Street, there are three surrounding the Wetherspoons - The Star Inn. My studio is a 5 minute walk from there.

Rescheduling
Rescheduling will incur an additional £35 booking fee if required within 3 days of your original session date. Rescheduling is at the discretion of Gemma at Devon Photography Training and new sessions may be weeks away from the original date depending on availability.
Accommodation
If the session requires that Gemma stays in nearby accommodation in order to hold your session, the costs will be forwarded to the client at the time of booking. If the client reschedules the session, any accommodation costs resulting from rescheduling or cancelling the session will be the responsibility of the client. In the event that Gemma needs to reschedule or cancel prior to the session, Gemma will cover any costs incurred by rescheduling accommodation.
No Shows
If there are no communications to cancel the session before the session start time and the client does not show up within 30 minutes of the session start time, this will be considered a no show. Session fee refunds for client no shows will not be given, as that session time could have gone to someone else. On the day of the no show, clients can reschedule the same session by paying an additional 50% session fee plus the £35 rescheduling fee.
If, on the very rare occasion, Gemma does not cancel or reschedule a session and then fails to turn up to a confirmed (paid for session) the client will be offered a 50% session fee refund and a rescheduled session OR a 100% session and booking fee refund.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of customized 1-2-1 training and photographic sessions I cannot offer any refunds for sessions that have taken place. Your Booking Fee is always Non Refundable as you pay to reserve your booking date when you book. Gemma is always open to constructive feedback should you have any concerns. Due to the nature of customized photographic media all sales are final. All products undergo vigorous inspection for quality control before delivery/collection. I am always open to any concerns you may have and encourage you to ask questions if you are unsure of anything.

The information contained on Devon Photography Training's Website, Workshops, Products and Services is for educational and informational purposes only, and is made available to you as self-help and business development tools for your own use. You are acknowledging that you are participating voluntarily in using my Website, Workshops, Products and Services, and you alone are solely and personally responsible for your choices, actions and results. You acknowledge that you take full responsibility for yourself and your business and for all your personal and business related decisions you make now and in the future.
Equality
All reasonable efforts will be taken to provide individualized adjustments based on your needs as a learner. Please let me know if you have any physical Impairments, learning difficulties or other potential barriers to learning so I can make adjustments to your sessions and facilitate your needs.
Health and Safety
You are solely responsible for yourself and belongings when undertaking any sessions with me.
Session venues will comply with all health and safety regulations and the equipment we use is regularly checked for safety purposes. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the safety of your personal belongings and camera equipment.
Not Legal or Financial Advice
The information contained in my Website, Workshops, Products or Services is not intended to be a substitute for legal or financial advice that can be provided by your own lawyer, accountant, and/or financial advisor. Although care has been taken in preparing the information provided to you, I cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions, and I accept no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage howsoever arising.
No Guarantees of Income or of Any Kind
My role is to support and assist you in reaching your goals, but your success depends primarily on your own effort, motivation, commitment and follow-through. I cannot and do not guarantee that you will attain a particular business result or income increase or level, and you accept and understand that results differ by each individual. Each individual’s business success depends on his or her background, dedication, desire, and motivation, and a whole host of additional factors.
As with any business-related programs or services that you purchase, your results may vary, and will be based on many variables, so therefore no guarantees can be made. Any earnings or income statements or examples shown through my Website, Workshops, Products and Services are only estimates of what might be possible for you. There can be no assurance as to any particular financial outcome based on the use of my Website, Workshops, Products or Services. You do not have permission to sell on, copy, photograph or reproduce any of the content, worksheets or help sheets in any way. Doing so will hold you accountable under copyright law.
Images taken as part of a practical session of a model or subject sat specifically for your session are created with copyright belonging to you, however many competitions and organisations will request that images taken on training days or workshops are not entered in competitions.
Implicit Agreement
By using my Website, Attending my Workshops and using my Products and Services including 1-2-1 Tuition Sessions you implicitly signify your agreement to all parts of the above Disclaimer.
